Ground-Penetrating Radar (GPR) Scanning

This is a new and highly useful technology that uses electromagnetic waves to detect variations within the structure. It is used to locate anomalies in concrete buildings, bridges and other structures which can be dangerous to workers and the public. Traditional scanners use X-Ray technology which requires work stoppages. However GPR utilizes electromagnetic waves, therefore it is a safe alternative to traditional methods.

GPR is an accepted and routinely used nondestructive method for imaging embedments in concrete prior to cutting. It is a safe application of radar regulated by the Federal Communications Commission in the U.S. Imaging results are generated on-site for immediate mark out and analysis of embedments in the defined area(s). The inspection, under normal circumstances, can be performed on one side of the slab, which permits slab-on-grade scanning.

Some common applications of GPR scanning include, but are not limited to:

Locating reinforcing bars
Locating post-tension cables
Locating metallic and non-metallic conduits
Detecting voids beneath slab-on-grade
Slab thickness and cover depth to targets
Locating live power

With trained and experienced operators, GPR is a safe and effective alternative to traditional methods, especially for difficult and highly specialized projects.

Core Drilling

Core drilling techniques are used when precise, circular cuts are needed. Holes of any diameter are easily drilled to make openings for plumbing, electrical, HVAC installations, civil storm and sanitary connections, and residential vent openings. Core drilling is also commonly used to create holes for routing cables or placing anchoring bolts, installing load-carrying devices or dowel bars, or for concrete sample analysis. In addition to all of those applications we also are able to cut large diameters around manhole openings for grade adjustment with our core drilling skid steer attachment.

Flat Saw

We do both indoor and outdoor applications.

Flat saws that cut concrete, asphalt and steel up to 36” deep. We offer diesel saws for outdoor applications such as; cutting roadways, parking lots, bridges, patios, driveways and new slab control cutting (new concrete floors must be cut to prevent cracking). For indoor applications, we offer a variety of electric saws for plumbing/electrical trenches, slab rehabilitation, major slab/floor removal, both slab on grade and suspended.

Wall Saw

We offer both electric and hydraulic wall sawing.
We can cut up to 48” deep on steel and concrete. Applications include door/window openings, elevator shaft openings, foundation cutting, bridge abutments/wingwalls, machine base removal, Water treatment plant rehabs. Any concrete surface, we will cut it. Looking for challenging jobs.

Wire Saw

(Specialty)

For the tough, hard-to-reach jobs, we offer specialty wire sawing. Cutting concrete pipes, machine base. If you can wrap a wire around it, we can cut it.

Rock Drilling

The applications for this tool are endless. Anyone looking to drill into rock for fence posts, grounding/anchor rods, line drilling, sump pits or signage. An excavator attachment that allows one machine to be utilized in multiple ways. With multiple extensions that can be added on, we can drill up to 50’ into any solid surface.

See the difference we can make.

When we say full service we mean it.
